In the Russian city of Novorossiysk, a severe fire broke out at the Kirillovskaya electrical substation. On Saturday, May 18, part of the Russian Novorossiysk was left without electricity. The reason is a mysterious fire at the substation that supplied the city with electricity. 

 The videos are available on the Ukraine 365 Telegram channel. The fire broke out at approximately 08:30 am local time at the Kirillovskaya substation. The mayor of the city, Andrei Kravchenko, is silent about the cause of the incident, assuring that it is “being established”. “An oil transformer caught fire on an area of 25 square meters,” the Russian authorities assure. 

The fire is still ongoing. As a result of the emergency, approximately 26 thousand people were left without power supply. According to local media, the sounds of drones were allegedly heard over the city at night. However, there is no confirmation of this information at the moment. 

A version is spreading in Russian public pages that the substation was set on fire by unknown persons.
