Protests against the law on “foreign agents” continue in Georgia

The foreign ministers of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Iceland took part in the procession and also spoke on stage outside the parliament building. Let us recall that in the case of Russia, the law on foreign agents has become an instrument of repression. The Georgian opposition fears that the adoption of a similar document will distance the country from joining the European Union. Brussels agrees that the bill does not correspond to EU values and directly contradicts the conditions that Georgia must fulfill to join.
