Russian military aircraft, while shelling Ukraine, “dropped” two more aerial bombs on the Belgorod region. 

On Monday, May 13, there was again an “unusual descent” of aerial bombs on the Belgorod region. At least two FABs were dropped onto their territory by Russian Aerospace Forces combat aircraft while attacking Ukraine. The Russian resource ASTRA reported this, citing its sources. 

One FAB-250 fell near the village of Nikolskoye, which is located near the border with the Kharkov region, where the Russian army is trying to advance. The second aerial bomb (FAB-500) landed near the village of Varvarovka in the south-eastern part of the Belgorod region. The local residents were lucky that the Russian military slightly missed and the bombs fell close to, and not on, the village. 

Initially, there were no casualties. According to journalists, over the past three months, Russian military aviation has dropped at least 32 faulty bombs on its border territories. This often led to disastrous consequences for the local population. 

Thus, on May 12, in the Russian city of Belgorod, the entrance to a 9-story building collapsed as a result of a mysterious “arrival.” Then 17 people died and dozens were injured. The Russian Ministry of Defense  claims that the incident allegedly occurred due to the fall of a fragment of a Ukrainian missile shot down by Russian air defense. However, military experts consider this to be a lie. 

An explosion of such power could only occur with a direct hit from a rocket or bomb. On May 4, a military aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces dropped another FAB-500 aerial bomb, also on Belgorod. Then 7 people were injured, and dozens of houses were damaged. The Russian authorities tried to hide this incident.
