Federal television channels of the Russian Federation in daytime news broadcasts have stopped reporting en masse about a shell hitting a ten-story residential building in Belgorod.

Kremlin channels and state agencies of the Russian Federation relegated the collapse of a ten-story building in Belgorod to secondary news amid publications about the fall of a Russian shell in the city on the same day. Russian bombers are massively losing bombs falling on Russian territory. The Agency writes about this . Federal television channels in their daytime news broadcasts stopped reporting about a shell hitting a ten-story residential building in Belgorod in the first half of their news broadcasts.

On the main pages of the largest state news agencies, only photo reports at the bottom of the pages remind of Belgorod. Channel One devoted 40 seconds in a three-hour news broadcast to the shelling of Belgorod and the collection of assistance for victims of the collapse of the entrance to a house on Shchorsa Street. At 12 o'clock, Channel One spent one minute and 20 seconds talking about what happened in Belgorod. The story came out third after the news about deputies and senators discussing government candidates.

"Russia 1" in the "Vesti" episode at 11 o'clock showed a story about Belgorod only fourth after the advertising block. The total timeline of the story about the collapse of a high-rise building, together with the presenter's introduction, is less than two and a half minutes. For comparison, the block on the formation of the Russian government took about nine minutes.

After the story about Belgorod, “Russia 1” until the end of the program showed two more short stories about the detention of a former Yandex employee for transferring money to Ukraine and about the use of artificial intelligence to preserve the languages of the peoples of Russia. NTV, in its “Today” program at 1 p.m., placed the story about Belgorod third after the block on consultations on candidates for ministerial positions in the government.

In total, NTV devoted about five minutes to news from Belgorod. As of 15:30, on the main page of the TASS agency there was only one material left that mentioned Belgorod: a photo report from the site of the collapse of a nine-story building. On the main page of the RIA Novost website, even during the day, there was only one publication about the collapse of a house in Belgorod, and also a photo report.

The collapse of an entrance in Belgorod killed 15 people, the governor of the Belgorod region said. 25 residents of the house, including a one and a half month old child, were injured.
